Dr. Liz Sablotny, DVM
Dr. Liz Sablotny originally grew up in Ohio, where 4-H instilled her passion to become a veterinarian. She graduated from the University of Findlay in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, Biology, and a minor in Chemistry before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2018. While a student at NC State, Dr. Sablotny was active with the school’s Turtle Rescue Team, helping to treat the 300+ injured and sick turtles that were brought to the team each year. Upon earning her DVM Dr. Sablotny returned to Ohio to start her career, but is very excited to return to North Carolina to continue with Gentle Care Ten Ten.
Dr. Sablotny enjoys working with all animals, although her biggest interest is feline medicine and alternative forms of pain management for our four-legged friends. Dr. Sablotny currently lives in Raleigh, NC with her wife and their menagerie of animals: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 rabbits, and 1 blind turtle. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, camping, surfing, and working on projects around the house.
